Information on your devices

The Mac app stores imported originals, transactions, tags, profile details, receipts, extracted text, rules, workspaces, audit history and recovery copies in its local library. The iPhone app stores receipt originals, extracted and edited details, tags, drafts and any Mac snapshot you import in its local app storage.

These supplied betas have no developer analytics, advertising, hosted AI or active automatic cloud sync. Receipt text recognition runs on the device using Apple frameworks. Camera and photo access are used for the captures you choose.

File handoff, exports and backups

You choose where files are saved and whom to share them with. A Mac library snapshot contains transaction and classification information. An iPhone receipt handoff contains receipt details and original documents. Backup files can include the complete local library and originals. These files are not password-protected by ottiyo.

AirDrop, email, Files, iCloud Drive or another storage service may handle a file when you explicitly use them. Their own privacy and security settings apply. The apps do not send your financial library to Elmbridge Advantage.

Website analytics

This website uses Statcounter to understand visits and site use. Each page loads an external Statcounter script, or a tracking image when JavaScript is disabled. That service receives website-visit information through your browser. This integration is separate from the apps and does not give Statcounter access to your local financial library.

Beta registration and questions

Our form collects your name, email, request type, selected device, intended use and any message you provide. These details are emailed to hello@ottiyo.com so we can respond to your question or contact you about beta access. Submitting is not consent to unrelated marketing. Do not include financial records, passwords or identity documents.

The form uses a session cookie to protect submissions, and short-lived hashed network identifiers to limit abuse. Your hosting and email providers process requests and messages. We do not store form submissions in a website database. Contact hello@ottiyo.com to request access, correction or deletion.

Contacting support

If you email us, we receive the contact details and information you send so we can respond. Our email providers also process those messages. Avoid including bank statements, receipt images or other sensitive records unless needed. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your support correspondence.

Detailed support retention periods and service-provider disclosures remain to be finalised before a public release.

Your controls

On Mac, manage records in the app and back up before deletion. Settings → Reset removes app-held records, originals, recovery copies and preferences from the active library. It does not securely erase disk storage or remove separately exported files, external backups or preserved failed libraries.

On iPhone, export a backup before removing the app or replacing its local library. Uninstalling may remove app-held records. It does not delete files already shared or exported. Device backups and any cloud storage you choose are governed by your device and service settings.

Scope of this notice

This information describes the local Mac and iPhone betas shown on this site. Optional future cloud services would require updated disclosures. A final public privacy policy and App Store privacy review are still required before public release.
